MAKE YOUR OWN WEDDING RINGS
CRAFT YOUR WEDDING BANDS TOGETHER
Create your wedding bands together in the setting of an Italian bottega, with guidance from Florence-trained jeweler and metalsmith Davide Bigazzi.
In this intimate, hands-on workshop, you will design, shape, and finish your own rings while learning traditional jewelry-making techniques. Davide works closely with each couple throughout the process, helping you create rings that reflect your individual styles and the meaning behind them.
-
Begin by working with Davide to choose a design and materials for your rings. Options include yellow gold, white gold, platinum, and silver. Stones may also be incorporated into certain designs.
Engraving is included at no additional cost.
-
No previous jewelry-making experience is required. Davide will guide you through each stage of creating your wedding bands, from shaping and soldering to finishing and polishing.
The process is adapted to your chosen designs and level of experience, allowing you to create your rings with confidence while learning traditional jewelry-making techniques.
When your rings are complete, celebrate with a Prosecco toast in the garden or take a photograph together in the studio.
-
Most wedding-ring projects require approximately 6–12 hours, divided into three- or six-hour sessions as needed. The total time depends on the complexity of your designs.
Private instruction is $700 per couple for each three-hour session. Precious metals, stones, and other materials are additional and vary according to your designs.
-
A brief in-person or Zoom consultation is required before the workshop. During this meeting, you will discuss your ideas, materials, timing, and receive a general estimate of material costs.
Workshops are scheduled directly with the studio according to your availability and Davide’s schedule.
The workshop takes place at Davide Bigazzi Studio at the historic Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, approximately 30 minutes south of San Francisco. Parking is available.
