ONGOING STUDIO CLASSES

YOUR SCHEDULE. YOUR PROJECT. YOUR PACE.

Flexible studio classes for ongoing learning and creative growth.

AN ITALIAN BOTTEGA IN SILICON VALLEY

Drawing on his Florentine training and decades of professional experience, Davide teaches time-honored Italian jewelry-making and metalsmithing techniques in small, focused classes limited to five students. Each student follows an individual path, working at their own pace on projects suited to their goals, skill level, and interests.

Beginners and experienced students learn side by side. A first-time student may begin with a sterling silver ring while learning essential skills such as piercing, filing, soldering, and finishing.

Chasing and repoussé, an area of particular expertise for Davide, uses specialized hammers and punches to shape metal into sculptural, raised-relief designs. Students at every level may explore these techniques through regular classes or specialized workshops. Both modern and traditional designs are welcome.
